Nayyar Kapur Festival

About the Festival
The Nayyar Kapur New Play Festival began Spring 2017 after Kunal Nayyar (TFMA, MFA ’06) visited Production Practicum. After finding out about the work Side Stage was doing, Kunal Nayyar and Neha Kapur gave a generous donation to TTSS. As a thank you to Kunal and Neha, this new play festival was named after them. This festival happens every spring and serves as another opportunity to let students shine. Many years later, the festival is still thriving. Each year, TTSS gets more submissions and has consistently been able to further develop each and every play that has been a part of this festival.
